Las Vegas, also known as the entertainment capital of the world, is not only renowned for its phenomenal gambling facilities, but the hotel/accommodation that only adds to the decadent nature of the city. The city of second chances has some of the world’s best facilities. If you are planning on a road trip there, here is our list of the best hotels in Las Vegas.
The Bellagio Hotel & Casino
The Bellagio is a resort, home to the Bellagio fountains. It’s often noted as one of the best free shows in Vegas. It is located on the Las Vegas strip and is instantly recognisable. It’s owned by Blackstone Inc, and operated by MGM Resorts and is one of the most luxurious hotels in Las Vegas. Inspired by Lake Como, it has a mediterranean feel to it, and for those of you who are looking for a bit of culture, there is also fine art throughout the hotel and numerous fantastic dining options.
Caesars Palace
Caesars Palace is a world-renowned hotel on the Las Vegas strip. Even if you haven’t visited it in-person, you may be familiar with it from Blockbuster movies such as Rain Man and The Hangover. It even appeared in the hit sitcom Friends. It is completely iconic, and it’s not hard to tell why. As you may have guessed this hotel is very much themed around Rome and is every bit as decadent as the times of Julius Caesar.
The Venetian
If you are looking for some romance on your trip to Vegas, look no further than The Venetian. This Venice inspired hotel is located in the heart of the Las Vegas strip. You can do everything from going on a gondola ride on one of the canals and being seranaded, or enjoy some fine dining in the Michelin starred restaurants. The Venetian is definitely one of the most picturesque hotels in Las Vegas with ample entertainment.
Waldorf Astoria
If you are looking for some pampering, then the Waldorf Astoria is the hotel for you. It is what we would describe as one of the most luxurious hotels in the city, boasting a fantastic spa that will help you relax. It’s in the centre of the strip with all of the famous sites such as the Las Vegas sign, The Venetian, Caesars Palace etc all within a 2-mile radius. It doesn’t have a casino, which you might find unusual for a hotel in Vegas, but it doesn’t have to as they are all in such close proximity.
One thing’s for sure when you visit Las Vegas, there is no shortage of entertainment. Whether you are taking in a show, testing your luck against the dealer, or eloping – there is something for everyone. That’s why there is such an eclectic mix of accommodation.
